About This Game Kuindzhi, 93 is an atmospheric first-person narrative vignette about an 18-year-old boy from Donbas. The plot and setting are based on real events, but their details are intentionally composite. This is a story about a traumatizing environment, inner conflicts, and the search for one’s place. After his father is drafted and sent to the front, the protagonist volunteers in Mariupol, leaving his studies behind and ignoring his mother’s fears. — Special attention is paid to sound design: radio conversations, distant explosions, footsteps, rustling, creaks, and that overwhelming silence.
