Each death sends The Cat right back to the start, by The Devil himself laughing at her expense and burning all the cards you’ve collected. Also, there are talismans that you can equip that give you synergies between cards or just give passive bonuses – The Devil doesn’t burn them seing them as nothing special Your starter hand is chosen at the start of the run^^ Story The Cat that fears pain the most has to battle using cards that hurt her before the enemies.
